Thanks to the optimized structural design and the results of material recycling, the manufacturing cost of the rear floor assembly system of the car is reduced by 40% after adopting the integrated die casting method.
This new technology is the core of Tesla’s "unpacking process" assembly system. When Tesla announced the assembly system in March, it said that it would be used to support the production of low-priced models, which is expected to reduce the production cost of electric vehicles by 50% and the factory space by 40%.
