Debris flow in Dehong mangshi, Yunnan Province endangers China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline

Affected by Typhoon Nida, at 8: 00 a.m. on August 4th, a landslide and debris flow occurred in Santaishan, mangshi, Dehong, Yunnan Province, which caused traffic disruption in some sections of Long Rui Expressway and G320 national highway, and many cars were trapped on the road. A bus was washed off the national highway by debris flow, one person was missing and many people were trapped in the debris flow disaster area. In addition, mountain torrents and mudslides also caused some pipelines of China-Myanmar crude oil and natural gas pipeline to be exposed, which seriously endangered the pipeline safety.

The reporter saw at the scene that many oil and gas pipelines that were originally buried underground have been exposed on the surface, and some pipelines are hanging in the air, which is very dangerous.

At present, China-Myanmar crude oil and natural gas pipelines, the crude oil pipeline has not been put into production, and it will not cause harm, mainly natural gas pipelines. After the heavy rain in the early morning of the 4th, the hydraulic works along the oil and gas pipelines and the farmland of ordinary people were washed away by floods, resulting in the exposed oil and gas pipelines and the interruption of communication optical cables. If remedial measures are not taken in time, once the landslide distance is relatively large, it is easy to drift the pipeline, endanger the pipeline and cause the pipeline to break.

On the afternoon of the 4th, the staff of Dehong Oil and Gas Transmission Branch of PetroChina Southwest Pipeline, together with local rescue workers, carried out emergency repairs on the exposed section of the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline, dredged the waterway, changed the waterway, and prevented the pipeline from being washed by floods, so as to temporarily maintain the pipeline status quo. Subsequently, the emergency repair personnel will also take measures such as lowering the gabion, driving steel piles, etc. to restore the exposed pipe section to ensure the safety of the pipeline. Hangrui Expressway has been rushed through the 320 National Highway by single line, and the rush continues.

After more than 10 hours of efforts by various departments, the Long Rui Expressway Santaishan section resumed traffic at 9: 15 pm on the 4th (Ruili to mangshi), while the downlink was still being cleaned, and the opening time was to be determined. At present, the National Highway 320 is still being rushed through, and it is initially expected to be completed on the 6th.

Due to the serious debris flow and landslide of National Highway 320, and the continuous formation of new debris flow, it is not open to traffic, so it is the quickest way to get through Long Rui Expressway quickly to carry out emergency rescue in Dehong Prefecture. On the 4th, the local government and the high-speed maintenance department put 1 excavator, 14 loaders, more than 20 dump trucks, more than 30 emergency command vehicles, a total of more than 70 machinery and equipment, and more than 300 emergency workers rushed to get through the road.
