Optimizing the Construction Environment of ＂Double Gigabit＂ Network and Ensuring Equal Access of 5G and Gigabit Optical Networks

　　CCTV News:Fourteen departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Further Deepening the Co-construction and Sharing of Telecommunication Infrastructure to Promote the High-quality Development of Double Gigabit Networks" to deploy and promote a new round of co-construction and sharing of telecommunication infrastructure.

　　According to the "Implementation Opinions", by 2025, the working mechanism of telecom infrastructure co-construction and sharing will be continuously improved, the construction environment of "double gigabit" network will be further optimized, and cross-industry co-construction and sharing will be deepened and expanded, effectively saving social resources.

　　Strengthen the effective connection between the special planning of communication infrastructure and national strategic planning, land and space planning, support the co-construction and sharing of 5G access networks, and promote the roaming of 5G different networks. Promote the unified and coordinated entry of facilities such as 5G base station sites, computer rooms and indoor distribution systems in key places to ensure equal access to 5G and Gigabit optical networks. Establish and improve the co-construction and sharing mechanism of rural telecom infrastructure, and encourage basic telecom enterprises to promote the co-construction and sharing of rural pole and road cables through the modes of sharing cables in the same ditch and sharing cables in the same pole.

　　The "Implementation Opinions" encourage cross-industry open sharing. Strengthen coordination and communication between power, municipal administration, highways, railways and other departments, promote the opening and sharing of towers, pipelines, tunnels and other facilities to the "double gigabit" network construction, and promote "one pole for multiple purposes" and "one tower for multiple purposes". Carry out cross-industry sharing demonstration projects, and form a number of typical cases by the end of 2025.
