Sichuan Seismological Bureau： Immediately start the emergency response work for the 4.3-magnitude earthquake in Qianwei, Leshan.

　　China Seismological Network officially determined that a 4.3-magnitude earthquake occurred at 08: 37 on October 18th in Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province (29.26 degrees north latitude and 103.96 degrees east longitude) with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. Weibo, Sichuan Seismological Bureau, reported that after the earthquake, Sichuan Seismological Bureau immediately started the emergency response work, connected with China Seismological Bureau to report the situation, and held a joint consultation with China Seismological Network Center.

　　The epicenter was 6 kilometers from Qianwei County, 21 kilometers from wutongqiao district, 34 kilometers from Muchuan County, 38 kilometers from downtown, 43 kilometers from Shawan District, 38 kilometers from Leshan City and 155 kilometers from Chengdu City. In addition, the villages within 5km of this earthquake are Lantianpo, Jungle Village, Heilinshan, Wayaoba, Shaba Village, Pingshui ‘ao, Tanzihe, Yuanjiaba, Kangle Village and Zhonghe Village, and the towns within 20km are Yujin Town, Dingwen Town, Shixi Town, Jinsu Town, Shoubao Town, Qingxi Town, Longkong Town, Bagou Town and Zhonghe Village.

　　In addition, at 08: 41, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake occurred in Qianwei County (29.25 degrees north latitude and 103.93 degrees east longitude) with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
